Tapped horn plans3044 viewsHey, this is my 18" tapped horn design (pioneered by Tom Danley). We have built 8 of these and they sound very good. They load the driver very well and have an almost totally flat response down to 37hz. however, the horn has a low expansion and doesn't give much gain. The drivers we used were the Eminence definimax 4018LF, but others may work better. I take no responsibility for use or performance (or breach of patents in doing so) but if you want to try out a tapped horn then try these! have fun
